MEETING HELD ON February, 21 2017

Rear Conference Room, 68 First Avenue, Atlantic Highlands NJ 07716

In attendance: Cindy Fligor, Jacquie Hillmann, Justin Sonta, Claudia Graf

Recording Secretary: Lori Montana Guests: Alex Nichols, Lou Fligor, Corinna Thuss, Anne Hamilton, Kristie Gannon, Pennie Hoffman, Stefanie Hayden

President Cindy Fligor called the meeting to order at 7:08 P.M, agendas and minutes were distributed.

The minutes were reviewed; a motion was made by Jacqui Hillmann and seconded by Justin Sonta to accept them as written. The motion carried unanimously.

Claudia Graf submitted the Treasurer’s Report. A motion was made by Jacqui Hillmann and seconded by Justin Santo to accept the Treasurer’s Report and pay all bills. The motion was carried unanimously.

Old Business:
Farmers’ Market: Every Friday from June 2 through October 6. Same hours as last year, noon to 6:00 P.M. A new tent and chars are need for the chamber booth.

Website: Will be up and running soon.

New Business:
The Chamber needs business cards. A decision will be made as to where to order them from as soon as prices for printing are compared.

Made in Monmouth is Saturday, April 8. The Chamber would like to be a part of it.

Car Show: June 10, Rain date: June 11. Vendors who have participated in the past have been sent forms for this year. The Lions Club will participate.

Wine Tasting: the Chamber will sponsor this event. $60 per person at Christine’s Italian Restaurant. All Chamber members are encouraged to come and bring friends.

Annual Meeting: The Chamber’s annual meeting will be held on Monday, February 27. At 11:30 A.M. Breakfast will be served. Cindy Fligor will lead the discussion and have a PowerPoint presentation.

A business networking breakfast at the Town and Surf Diner will be held on Friday, March 31 at 8:30 A.M. It will be a social gathering to exchange business cards and everyone will have a few moments to talk about their business.

Anne Hamilton will have an event at the Wine Bar on May 5 from 3-5.

Kristie Gannon will be in charge of the kiosk.

The chamber has an ad in Visit Monmouth.

TeaScapes (68 First Ave, Atlantic Highlands) is having its ribbon cutting and open house on Saturday, March 25 from noon to 2:00 P.M.

Paint the Town Pink will be in May. Let Cindy Fligor know if you’d like to participate and she will get you all the supplies. You will also appear in their directory.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:05 P.M. A motion was made by Claudia Graf to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Jacqui Hillmann; all in attendance agreed.
